Before you buy
What to check on used paintball gear
A few minutes of checks avoids most problems with second-hand kit:
- Ask for photos of the actual item, including any marks or damage.
- Markers: check the bolt and barrel are clean, ask about recent servicing and o-rings, and test fire on air if you can.
- Air tanks: check the test/manufacture date stamped on the cylinder is in date before you use it at a field.
- Masks: the lens must be uncracked and suitable for paintball; replace old or scratched lenses.
- Meet somewhere public, or at a field, and inspect before paying.
- Use a payment method with protection and keep your messages in the app.

Verified TACPLAY Premium players selling paintball equipment they own. Field owners, shops and other businesses can't list products.
Does TACPLAY handle the payment?
No. TACPLAY doesn't conduct the sale — payment, postage and any condition disputes are between buyer and seller. Report fake or misleading listings and they'll be reviewed.
Is it safe to buy used paintball guns?
Yes, with sensible checks: see the actual item, ask about servicing, test it if you can, and check any air tank's test date before using it at a field.
Can I sell my own paintball gear?
Yes — Premium players can list items in the app. Each advert costs £5 to list; there's no commission on the sale.
