01What the TACPLAY Marketplace is
The TACPLAY Marketplace is a community advertising service that allows eligible players to advertise legitimate used and second-hand paintball equipment to other TACPLAY users.
TACPLAY provides the digital listing and communication environment. TACPLAY is not the buyer, seller, owner, payment processor, shipping provider or inspection service for the equipment being advertised.
The final transaction takes place directly between the buyer and seller.
02Who can sell
Marketplace selling is available to eligible TACPLAY Premium players. Before publishing an advert, sellers must:
- Have an active TACPLAY account.
- Meet applicable age requirements.
- Hold TACPLAY Premium status.
- Provide required account verification.
- Accept these Marketplace Rules.
- Pay the applicable listing fee.
- Provide accurate information about the item.
TACPLAY may restrict marketplace access where an account is suspended, under investigation or considered high risk.
03Listing fee
The standard TACPLAY used-equipment advert hosting fee is:
Per advert
€5
The listing fee is for hosting and displaying the advert within TACPLAY. The applicable listing period will be displayed when the seller creates the advert. TACPLAY may introduce:
- Extended listings.
- Featured listings.
- Promotional placements.
- Country-specific pricing.
- Subscription-based marketplace benefits.
Any additional price will be clearly shown before purchase.
04TACPLAY does not handle the sale
The €5 fee is an advertising/listing fee, not a sales commission. TACPLAY does not normally:
- Receive the purchase price of the equipment.
- Hold buyer funds.
- Release seller funds.
- Arrange delivery.
- Inspect equipment.
- Authenticate equipment.
- Guarantee equipment.
- Provide warranties on used goods.
- Determine shipping prices.
- Negotiate the transaction.
- Guarantee that either party completes the transaction.
Payment and delivery arrangements are agreed directly between buyer and seller.
05Seller responsibilities
The seller is responsible for ensuring that:
- The item belongs to them or they are authorised to sell it.
- The description is accurate.
- The images show the actual item.
- Significant damage or faults are disclosed.
- The price is clearly stated.
- The item is lawful to advertise and transfer.
- The equipment can legally be sold in the seller's location.
- Any required safety checks or certifications remain valid.
- Buyer questions are answered honestly.
Do not intentionally conceal faults or materially misrepresent an item's condition.
06Listing information
A marketplace advert should include:
- Item title.
- Equipment category.
- Manufacturer/brand.
- Model where known.
- Condition.
- Description.
- Asking price.
- Clear photographs.
- Seller's general location or region.
- Preferred contact method.
- Relevant equipment details.
- Known damage or defects.
TACPLAY may introduce additional mandatory fields for certain equipment types.
07Photographs
Images must:
- Show the item being sold.
- Be reasonably clear.
- Not intentionally conceal damage.
- Not contain illegal or inappropriate material.
- Not falsely suggest TACPLAY endorsement.
- Not infringe another person's intellectual property rights.
TACPLAY may use automated image analysis to assist with marketplace moderation.

Subject to local law and TACPLAY approval, suitable categories may include:

- Paintball pants.
- Gloves.
- Protective equipment.

The existence of a category does not guarantee that every product within that category can legally be sold in every country.
09Prohibited listings
Do not advertise:
- Real firearms.
- Live ammunition.
- Explosives.
- Illegal weapons.
- Stolen equipment.
- Counterfeit goods.
- Controlled substances.
- Illegal modifications.
- Equipment known to be dangerously defective.
- Fraudulent items.
- Items the seller does not own or have authority to sell.
- Products prohibited by applicable law.
- Non-paintball weapons presented misleadingly as paintball equipment.
TACPLAY may remove an item whenever there is a reasonable safety, legality or authenticity concern.
10Air tanks and safety-critical equipment
Compressed-air equipment requires particular care. Sellers should accurately disclose, where applicable:
- Manufacturer.
- Cylinder type.
- Manufacture date.
- Test information.
- Visible damage.
- Regulator condition.
- Known defects.
Buyers are responsible for checking whether an air system remains suitable and lawful for use before filling or using it. TACPLAY does not certify pressure vessels or other safety-critical equipment.
11Paintball marker listings
Paintball marker laws and classifications differ between countries. The seller and buyer are each responsible for ensuring that any proposed sale, possession, transportation or use complies with the laws that apply to them.
TACPLAY may restrict marker listings in specific countries or regions.
12Contact between buyer and seller
TACPLAY may provide:
- In-app communication.
- Seller contact preference.
- Other approved contact methods.
Users should avoid unnecessarily publishing sensitive personal information. TACPLAY recommends keeping initial communication within the platform wherever the feature is available.
13Safe transactions
Buyers and sellers should take sensible precautions. Recommended good practice includes:
- Verify the identity of the other party where appropriate.
- Ask for additional photographs if necessary.
- Confirm exactly what is included.
- Keep written records of the agreement.
- Avoid unusual payment requests.
- Be cautious of pressure to act immediately.
- Do not share passwords or security codes.
- Do not click suspicious payment links.
- Inspect higher-value items where practical.
- Use reputable tracked shipping where shipping is agreed.
If something appears suspicious, stop and report it.
14Payment
Payment takes place directly between the buyer and seller. TACPLAY does not guarantee payments made outside the platform. Users should independently evaluate the payment method they choose.
Never send TACPLAY account credentials, verification codes or passwords to another user.
15Shipping and collection
Shipping, delivery, insurance and collection arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer and seller. They are responsible for determining:
- Shipping provider.
- Shipping cost.
- Insurance.
- Packaging.
- Delivery timescale.
- Import/export restrictions.
- Collection location.
- Applicable transport restrictions.
TACPLAY is not responsible for an item lost, damaged or delayed during delivery, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
16Disputes between buyers and sellers
Because TACPLAY does not conduct the transaction, it does not ordinarily determine private payment, shipping, warranty or condition disputes between buyers and sellers. However, users should report:
- Fraud.
- Scam activity.
- Fake listings.
- Dangerous goods.
- Repeated misleading descriptions.
- Stolen equipment.
- Prohibited items.
- Abusive marketplace behaviour.
TACPLAY may use such reports when determining whether a user should continue to have marketplace access.
17No TACPLAY guarantee
Publication of an advert does not mean that TACPLAY:
- Owns the item.
- Has inspected it.
- Has tested it.
- Has authenticated it.
- Guarantees its condition.
- Guarantees the seller.
- Guarantees the buyer.
- Guarantees payment.
- Guarantees delivery.
Users remain responsible for carrying out appropriate checks before completing a transaction.
18Moderation
Marketplace listings may be reviewed using:
- Automated moderation.
- AI-based content analysis.
- Image analysis.
- Keyword controls.
- Community reports.
- Manual TACPLAY review.
A listing may be:
- Approved.
- Rejected.
- Temporarily hidden.
- Returned to the seller for correction.
- Removed.
- Escalated for investigation.
19Removal of listings
TACPLAY may remove an advert where it:
- Violates these rules.
- Is misleading.
- Contains prohibited content.
- Appears fraudulent.
- Creates a safety risk.
- Breaches applicable law.
- Violates Community Guidelines.
- Is associated with a suspended account.
Serious or repeated violations may result in marketplace or account suspension.
20Sold items
Sellers should mark an item as SOLD as soon as the transaction has been completed. TACPLAY may automatically archive adverts after the listing period expires.
Expired or sold adverts will no longer appear as active listings.
21Reporting a marketplace advert
Every marketplace advert should include a Report Listing function. Possible report reasons should include:
- Suspected scam.
- Prohibited item.
- Fake item.
- Stolen equipment.
- Misleading description.
- Unsafe equipment.
- Inappropriate content.
- Duplicate advert.
- Other concern.
22Our marketplace principle
The TACPLAY Marketplace exists to help paintball equipment stay in the sport and help players connect with one another.
Buy responsibly. Sell honestly. Keep it paintball.
TACPLAY reserves the right to update these Marketplace Rules as the platform expands into additional countries and regions.
